Nest

As a child I found nests everywhere: some long abandoned, some still holding eggs. The nest became my symbol of home — of constancy, harmony and quiet wellbeing. Two birds keep watch over three eggs, their feathers broken into turquoise and red and bound in raised gold, like a small stained-glass window.
